About Us
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) brings together civil engineers from around the world to plan, design, and build a community that is not only safe and comfortable for humans, but also minimizes environmental damage.
Mission
The ASCE Student Chapter aims at bridging the gap between civil engineering students and professionals. In the next years, the ASCE Student Chapter, BUET intends to bring students closer to professional civil engineering activities by connecting them with distinguished alumni, offering seminars and webinars, and organizing symposiums, among other interesting activities. Students will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of contests designed to evaluate their knowledge in the various sectors of civil engineering, including structure, transportation, geotechnical, and environmental divisions.
Vision
As a far-reaching student organization, ASCE BUET SC works for the facilitation of technology for the overall betterment of the civil engineering circuit of Bangladesh. Forthwith, providing automated and modernized tools for mastering different branches of civil engineering is also encompassed by our vision. The resemblance of which can be found in the Panel Discussions, Presentation of Technical Reports and Papers, Organized Symposiums and Competitions.
