A seminar sponsored by BSRM, headed ‘Seminar on Public Transportation in Light of Bangladesh’ was held on January 24, 2024. Our key presenter was Prof. Dr. Md. Shamsul Hoque sir, who briefly described the pros and cons of public transportation in our country. He also came up with suggestions to reduce traffic in Dhaka city. Our Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Md. Zakaria Ahmed, faculty adviser Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, and other faculty members were also present in the seminar. About 100 students attended this seminar and gained knowledge about sustainable public transportation in Bangladesh.
